Dinwoodie captures 2010 club championship
Derek Dinwoodie defeated Richard Peek to win the Club Championship at Farmington Country Club. Making seven birdies in the thirty holes played, Derek hit his drives far and had his putter working. Peek had an excellent round of 74 for the first 18 Holes played. Unfortunately for him, Dinwoodie shot a 3 under Par 69 for the same 18 Holes.

In the afternoon round Derek Dinwoodie did not let up scoring even par until the match ended 7 up with 6 Holes to play.

Congratulations to both players for their fine golf and sportsmanship.

In the First Flight Sam Hill defeated Jeremy Ham 6 up with 4 holes to play. The Second Flight was won by Henry Martino who defeated Kevin Wood 2 up.

The Rules Officials for the Event were Dave Mosher and Roger Sargent. Thank you all who participated in the event and made the 2010 Farmington Country Club, Club Championships such a great success!
