PGA Golf Professional: Jay Pollini
Married on October 19th, 2007 to my beautiful wife Natasha, we have two daughters, Anya, and Aria. I am fortunate to have a wonderful family. Golf has always been a part of my life from my early years. My father was a PGA Golf Professional for 38 years and I was fortunate enough to grow up playing golf. In our golf shop we extend that experience to our golfers.
Currently a member of the NH Chapter of the New England PGA, two-time Eastern Regional Club Professionals Championship qualifier, and NHC/PGA 2005 Player of the Year. I am an accomplished golfer but I enjoy bringing those experiences in golf to my membership. I have become an accomplished Golf Instructor and Golf Shop Merchandiser. Special orders, Professional Club Fitting, Video Lessons, Club Re-Shafting and Repairs, are available.
We are glad to be to a part of your golfing family. We are continually expanding the programs you have in place and push to exceed all expectations. Be certain to get some coaching and ask about how to improve your practice. You will have more fun and your scores will be lower!
See you at the Club!

Golf Instruction for both individuals and groups (group clinics), are available and are headed by our P.G.A. Head Golf Professional, Jay Pollini. Jay has over 15 years of teaching experience, and has instructed over 1,500 individual lessons and over 400 group clinics. Before arriving at Farmington, he was the Assistant Professional at some of the finest golf facilities in the Northeast, including Lake Winnipesaukee Golf Club, Wentworth By The Sea Golf Club in Rye, NH. High level facilities in the South West Florida Section include 36 Hole Royal Poincaina Country Club, and 27 Hole Wydemere, in Naples Florida.
Jay’s teaching philosophy and principles are directly focused on one thing: To get the golfer playing to the best of their ability and level of enjoyment. Jay's teaching approach is simple, yet very effective. Using the ways people learn best, he tailors instruction to their learning style. With a lifetime of golf and golf instruction experience from such esteemed players and coaches as David Pollini, Robert Raymond, Albert Schmitlein, Mike Calbot, Chip Beck, and Mo Guttman. He does not believe that there is one "perfect" swing. He will works with each player's body style/type/athletic ability and utilize the golfing basics, grip, alignment, posture, balance, ball position, and swing. After swing plane, clubface positions both at the top of backswing and at impact, and the finish position.
Jay's reputation as a dedicated and accomplished teacher began years ago. He enjoys watching his players succeed whether it is winning awards at a regional level, at the country club, or the first time player who just wants to get a started playing the game. What kind of game do we play where a Professional, an elderly player, a high school student, and a four year old can golf in the same group? Golf is the game of a lifetime.
PGA Professionals staff all our Private Instruction, Adult Group Lessons, Junior Lessons, and Clinics, with over 55 years of combined Professional Experience.

Are your grips more than 1 year old? If so, they may need to be changed. Weather and use wears out our grips. If you store them in your trunk where they are exposed to severe temperature changes, they will even dry out faster. Remember this is what you hold on to the club with. Think about it. We have a huge selection you may choose from. Re-gripping is available in the Golf Shop and you will feel like you have a new set of clubs. If you play often (more than once a week) you should re-grip yearly.
With the advent of soft spikes, re-spiking may need to be done every 10-15 rounds. Soft spikes wear out much quicker than the old metal spikes. Re-spiking is available in the Pro Shop, but it is relatively easy to do yourself. Re-spiking kits are available in the Pro Shop.
